The Martin Family is so precious. I was so excited to have been able to do updated family photos for them. Sheila, Austin, and their precious daughter – Isabella are a fun little family of 3. We spent our session walking around this gorgeous field with Isabella (her parents and friends/family called her Belly) checking out wildflowers, picking them for mommy and daddy, and looking for birds. Can we just take a minute for this gorgeous field? I love using it for Conway family photography!

When photographing children, especially toddlers, I love to meet them where they’re at. Trying to get little ones to stand still and smile for a 45 minute session is usually about as miserable as it sounds – so I love to take a more fun and candid approach. Let’s be honest, I love to do that for all of my sessions – but ESPECIALLY for family photography involving littles! I love to have the family walking together, picking flowers, sitting on dad’s shoulders, telling silly jokes, singing songs, etc. And most parents really enjoy photos that show who they are as a family. But if you’ll notice – we were successful at getting one image of everyone looking at the camera and smiling! I always try to get at least one of those!

I love the outfits that Sheila picked for her sweet crew to wear. If you’ve been on my site for more than 5 seconds, it’s no secret that I love blush pink and I certainly love neutrals. These colors really can go with any location and are so timeless in my opinion! And I’m just obsessed with Belly’s adorable blush and floral romper – and those two bows in her hair? Are you kidding me? Cuteness OVERLOAD. I adore The Martin Family – and YES they are as sweet as they look!
