June 3 is a day that I had been anticipating for so long! The prettiest summer day, with the sweetest bride and groom and their PRECIOUS family and friends – Allison and Zach’s Little Rock Wedding is what dreams are made of. From a romantic first look where we did their engagement photos, to some of the SWEETEST speeches I’ve ever heard at a wedding, to the genuine love and laughter everyone shared together on this day – it was truly a JOY to be present at Allison and Zach’s Wedding. I belly laughed SEVERAL times with Allison and her bridesmaids in the hotel suite where they were getting ready. I mean MAN! What an amazing and fun group of ladies!

Allison and Zach met a few years ago in college. They were in honors together, and also had band together! Zach proposed at a gathering of friends one evening. The friend group was having a powerpoint presentation night! I’d seen this fun group night idea going around on TikTok so I was excited to hear where this was going… Allison’s powerpoint was a presentation on which of her friend’s she’d cast in Shrek the Musical. And then Zach’s powerpoint was all of his and Allison’s memories together which ended with a proposal. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So sweet and SO unique!!!

I genuinely had so much fun at their wedding. Allison and Zach are a joy to be around. You can be with them for just a few minutes but feel how kind and nice they are, and feel like you’ve been friends for years! Allison and I talked about our mutual interest in select video games, her journey through medical school as she works towards her goal of becoming a pediatrician, and her love for Star Trek! Their wedding embodied so many interests of theirs. From their wedding day playlist (Star Wars music, Minecraft music, Star Trek music, and more…) to Allison’s Star Trek gifts from her dad, and then Allison and Zach’s dog making an appearance as Zach’s cake topper. No detail went unplanned, and I just couldn’t have been more lucky to be there to not only photograph it for them, but also get to experience such sweet love for myself.
