A sweet and precious autumn Grandeur House wedding that I’ll always remember for Allie & Kyle. This year has been so amazingly huge for this bride and groom – the purchase of their first home together, and getting MARRIED. I’m so honored to have been able to be part of it. Allie & Kyle are those people you meet and feel like you’ve known each other for years.

Allie and Kyle got engaged in PARIS. (are you kidding me… SUCH a dream.) Kyle set the whole thing up! He planned the trip, and hired a photographer to do a couples session for them while they were there, so they could get updated professional photos together. Then he proposed during the photoshoot!

Over the course of the year I’ve been so lucky to have done their engagement session, and Allie’s bridals a few weeks before the wedding at Grandeur House. And now that the wedding is over and their gallery is almost ready for delivery – I’m happy and a little sad because I won’t be seeing them much anymore!! They’ll just have to come back soon for a mini session or something for spring!

Their wedding was a dream – the PERFECT autumn day, not too chilly, but just a little crispy coolness in the air. I love Allie’s taste so much – she went with a very classy feel for her bridal look and their wedding theme. I love the black tuxes, champagne colored bridesmaid dresses, and Allie’s SHOWSTOPPER of a wedding dress – THAT BOW THOUGH. I love a good bow.

The bride and groom had a private first look and vow exchange before the ceremony, which was PERFECT because we got to take portraits during GOLDEN HOUR (thanks daylight savings!) – before their ceremony at dusk!

Allie and Kyle are also extremely thoughtful and sentimental – a favorite detail of mine from their wedding were the pendants of loved ones that have passed on Allie’s bouquet, and she also gifted her grandmother with a corsage that had a photo of her late husband on it – matching Allie’s bouquet. I remember Allie’s grandmother told her during that special moment – “you just have such a big heart.” And then Allie replied – “I never imagined he wouldn’t be here.”

Allie & Kyle – congratulations! You are so loved! And now you’re married!!
