Hannah and John Paul are the sweetest of sweet. March 18 was such an amazing day, out at John Paul’s parents land, in the exact same place where JP proposed to Hannah last year, under that beautiful tree. Their early spring wedding was a bit of a chilly day (okay very chilly – you never know what you’re going to get with Arkansas!) BUT I was so thrilled that the forecast was clear and the sun was shining!
I was obsessed with Hannah’s wedding day look and I couldn’t picture a gown that was more perfectly her. Sleek, elegant, with just a tiny bit of sexy with that leg slit. The long white gloves and long pearl veil just added to the elegance of her look. Paired with John Paul’s classic black tux and those BEAUTIFUL blue and white floral bridesmaid dresses – I was in photographer heaven. Hannah and her bridesmaids were troopers for me this day during their photos – it was in the 40’s all day! And that wind made it feel like it was even colder than that!
This wedding had so many different elements that were hand done by Hannah, her bridesmaids and her family. When I arrived that day to start her detail photos, Hannah and the girls were making all of their bouquets and boutonnieres. Hannah’s mom arranged and worked on their gorgeous DIY seating chart, and it was so cool to get to see it all come together as the day went on. And I think Hannah and her girls need to open a floral shop because those bouquets were on point!
Hannah and John Paul have an amazingly sweet history together, seeing as they are high school sweethearts. And John Paul completely lost it as Hannah was walking down the aisle. Their ceremony was right underneath the big tree where JP proposed last year – and then one of my favorites just as a photographer – we had the dreamiest light for their couples photos right before they entered for the reception. This early spring wedding was gorgeous, with the sweetest bride and groom and the best family and friends. From the start of the day to the end – we all had so much fun. Congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Williams!
