Grace & Daley’s hometown engagement session in Wilson, AR was sweet, joyful and full of summertime romance vibes. We spent the evening exploring some gorgeous spots in Wilson, including the town square, a hotel rooftop and her grandpa’s property for the dreamiest golden hour photos. I can’t wait for their wedding next year at Legacy Acres!
Check out what Grace had to say about their proposal story:
“When Daley and I first met, I was dead set on not getting married until I was 30—and when that time came, I wanted to be proposed to on Christmas Day. But after just a few months of dating, I knew the whole “30” plan was out the window.
Five days before Christmas, I was out shopping with my parents when I saw the most beautiful engagement ring I’d ever laid eyes on. I waited until everyone was checking out before I got brave enough to ask to try it on. I took a few pictures and sent them to Daley, just to give him an idea—you know, if he ever wanted to propose in the next few years. Little did I know, he met with his jeweler the very next week to start designing my ring.
Fast forward to the week of Valentine’s Day—it was chaos. We both had exams, were stressed to the max, and by Friday, we were kind of at each other’s throats 😂. We had plans to drive to Nashville for a Cody Johnson concert on Valentine’s Day, and then go out to dinner on the 15th. That’s when I started to get suspicious. My sister randomly “let me borrow” a brand new dress and shoes (which never happens), and Daley was literally pacing the entire time I was getting ready.
When we got in the elevator, instead of pressing 1, he hit the rooftop button.
While juggling med school, he had somehow found the time to plan the perfect engagement—one that included every little detail I’d ever mentioned. From wanting it to be just the two of us in the moment, to having our families together afterwards, he remembered it all.
I couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful, caring, and loving fiancé. 💍”
