Rachel and Ryne are a couple you fall in love with right off the bat! These two Chicago residents traveled down to Arkansas for their Hot Springs wedding with their family and friends over a beautiful Memorial Day weekend.
I asked Rachel how they came across Anthony Chapel, since they’re from out of state. Rachel told me that she loves visiting different state parks, and one year she was in town visiting a local state park, and visited Anthony Chapel while she was here and fell in love! I can’t blame her – Anthony Chapel is iconic! I know a lot of people travel in from out of state to get married at our gorgeous little cabin in the woods.
When Rachel and I discussed her wedding on the phone months ago, she told me it was so important to her to have a fun and laid back reception, where family and friends could dance, hang out and enjoy some yard games while the kids ran around and did their thing. That’s all I could think about during the reception – was how she absolutely got the reception of her dreams because what I saw was family, friends, and kiddos living their best!!
After a sweet and intimate ceremony in the gorgeous chapel in the woods, Rachel, Ryne and I took a golf cart around the gardens for some portraits and then met up with their family and friends back at The Reserve for their reception.
Rachel has such a kind heart. One of my favorite parts of the day was how she honored her late grandmother on her wedding day. Rachel wore her grandmother’s pearl jewelry and also had a photo of her sweet grandma embroidered underneath her wedding dress.
Rachel & Ryne Fedyn – you two are the best. Cheers to the rest of your lives together!
