Rachel and Zane are now some of my new favorite people. Talk about PRECIOUS. When talking to Rachel about ideas for their engagement session, she mentioned maybe incorporating an ice cream date at Loblolly into their session and I said LET’S GOOOOO! Then for some more traditional engagement portraits, we went to The Clinton Library a few blocks away to get some gorgeous green foliage and a little architecture too!
We met up at Loblolly and quickly after meeting them, I became super obsessed with them! (in the most non creepy way possible!) Their smile is contagious and their love for each other just radiates between them. The way they look at each other is so pure and loving!
Rachel and Zane met a few years ago in college in a Bible study group – at Harding University. They’ve since graduated and Rachel is a speech language pathologist and Zane is a freelance videographer! With my son receiving speech therapy and Zane and I having similar careers – we walked all around The Clinton Library talking all the things speech, photo/video and WEDDING!!
This past January, Zane took Rachel to Wildwood Park for the Arts and proposed! I asked how he managed to get her out there to pull the proposal off! Get this – he had FAKE tickets made for a show. So they got all dressed up for this “show” and before the show started, he took her to Wildwood Park to walk the trail – where he then proposed under the gazebo! The ticket he had custom made for Rachel actually had a QR code on it and once you scan it to get into the “show” – it says CONGRATS Rachel & Zane on your engagement! So there wasn’t really a show to go to, but a proposal with the love of your life is so much better! And now they’re set to get married this October at Legacy Acres!
Enjoy this ice cream engagement session with the sweetest couple – and be on the lookout in October for Rachel’s bridal session AND their wedding on the blog! It’s all going to be so good!
