Rachel and Zane – talk about an absolutely dreamy Legacy Acres Wedding. Early fall, solar eclipse, precious bride and groom, best bridal party and family and one of the best venues in Arkansas. We honestly couldn’t ask for better!
This past January, Zane took Rachel to Wildwood Park for the Arts and proposed! I asked how he managed to get her out there to pull the proposal off! Get this – he had FAKE tickets made for a show. So they got all dressed up for this “show” and before the show started, he took her to Wildwood Park to walk the trail – where he then proposed under the gazebo! The ticket he had custom made for Rachel actually had a QR code on it and once you scan it to get into the “show” – it says CONGRATS Rachel & Zane on your engagement! So there wasn’t really a show to go to, but a proposal with the love of your life is so much better!
We started the wedding day off with some beautiful detail shots, checking out the solar eclipse, then going into an intimate and precious first look inside the Legacy Acres chapel. We were able to get the most dreamy and sweet portraits of Rachel and Zane before beginning bridal party portraits over at the ballroom at Legacy Acres, but not without a first look between Rachel and her dad!
Rachel and her dad decided to share a first look in the Legacy Acres chapel as well, where her dad showed me the gift Rachel gave him – y’all have to be sure to check out that PRECIOUS tie!!
I’m OBSESSED with the dusty blue and sage color palette that Rachel and Zane chose. Rachel gave her girls the colors and told them to pick the dress that makes THEM feel the most beautiful. Can I get links to those dresses so I can buy them for myself??
The rest of the day involved Legacy Acres’ NEW bar/drink service – RING FOR A DRINK! What a cute idea! And of course there’s photos included in this post. Additionally, Loblolly ice cream made a much appreciated appearance, I personally enjoyed the Arkansas Mud flavor. Rachel and Zane’s engagement session earlier this year took place at Loblolly in Little Rock!
We got to end the night with a STUNNING grand exit out of the Legacy Acres ballroom with a vintage car from Rob Haynie and it was just such a perfect day from start to finish and I’m honored to have been able to photograph it.
