Arkansas wedding industry’s very own Christina Day is engaged to her amazing fiance, Ryan Essary and MAN do they have a fun story to tell! These two met 10 years ago at The Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL. They exchanged Instagrams and didn’t really keep touch until years later when Ryan reached out to Christina via Instagram after he saw a breathtaking photo of her – what stuck out most to him about that photo was her smile. Read what Christina has to say!

“We were each with a friend (my friend & I were from Arkansas, Ryan & his friend were from Tennessee) – we played ping pong & exchanged Instagram accounts & took a photo

We went our separate ways & in 2021 I was in Dallas & posted a photo, he messaged me & said I had a gorgeous smile .. I was hesitant to respond but I did, we messaged for a week and then he asked if he could take me to dinner the following week. Since he is a pilot he can just hop on flights, so he flew to LR on his off day to take me to dinner (he lived in Dallas at the time) & took me to Allsopp & Chapple. After dinner we road lime scooters by Clinton library, had Shake’s ice cream & played putt putt.

A few times later, he came in town & we went to Capital Hotel for lunch, it was a nice fall day so we went & sat on the balcony at the Capital Hotel for a bit.”

Soooo…. for their Little Rock engagement session, we hit up their first date places for gorgeousness on top of sentimental value! We started the evening off with photos at Allsopp & Chapple, then went to the Capital Hotel and finished up at The Clinton Library! It was the perfect fall engagement session in Little Rock and these two are set to be married in March 2024!
