Morgan & Mackenzie’s Petit Jean Maternity Session is one of my favorite things I’ve shot in a long time! Morgan (pink dress!) inquired me a few months ago about doing this special shoot for her and her sister since they were both pregnant at the same time and due just a few weeks apart!! Needless to say – I was ALL in and so ready for this!

I got to share Mackenzie’s pictures before Morgan’s since Morgan and her husband decided to keep their pregnancy a total surprise! I’m so glad we were able to get a date on the schedule for this – and Morgan’s husband and precious son were even able to come for a few pictures! Unfortunately, Mackenzie’s fiance couldn’t make it in time – BUT – fun fact, Morgan does photography too! So while I was photographing a wedding the next day, Morgan got to take some maternity pictures for her sister and her fiance!

Okay and for some reason – I was under the impression that Morgan and Mackenzie were twins and I referred to them as twins all afternoon during our shoot and just took that idea and ran with it. I got to see Morgan the following week for some more maternity pictures and it casually came up in conversation that they were not twins, but definitely sisters! I was pretty embarrassed – Hah! But Morgan said it happens all the time!

Petit Jean is always a good choice for a location – you can’t beat these views, and when Morgan & Mackenzie got out of their vehicle wearing these dresses I just knew it was going to be Heaven. They’re the sweetest sisters and I’m obsessed with how these turned out!
