Through about mid June, we’ve been really lucky and have had nice and mild temperatures here in Little Rock. Emme and Hayden’s wedding day was no exception. It was sunny, clear skies, and 80 degrees and I couldn’t have been more excited for The Bowman Wedding.
Emme and Hayden met at Ouachita Baptist University. During their engagement session, we had some time to talk between taking pictures and Emme said they had 3 classes together. It’s funny because they had the opportunity to choose their seats, and Emme and Hayden sat next to each other in each of those 3 classes!
A few years later, and after several years of dating, Emme is about to start her first year of medical school, and Hayden was going into his second year – and as a way to get Emme and Hayden in front of a camera, Hayden had them take some pictures in their white coats when Hayden got down on one knee and proposed!
Their wedding day couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect. They got married at one of my favorite Little Rock venues, Rusty Tractor Vineyards. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Emme and Hayden read each other letters in a private moment before the ceremony started. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and before they entered the reception – Emme and Hayden had blocked off SO MUCH TIME for sunset portraits in the vineyard. I was in photographer heaven to say the least.
I also love how last dances are starting to become more of a tradition at weddings. My last several wedding couples have done them, Emme and Hayden included. I think it is such a sweet way to have one last moment at your wedding before you leave for the night! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Bowman!
