I was so excited when Shannon reached out to me for engagement photography a few months ago! The plan is for Shannon and Ronnie to elope in October but I was so happy to be able to do their engagements here in Little Rock. These two met years ago when Shannon was a lifeguard at a pool where Ronnie came to swim! They started dating 6-7 years ago and Ronnie decided to make it official by proposing with the help of their sweet chocolate lab baby, Remi! He had a note put on Remi’s collar that says “will you marry my daddy?” and surprised Shannon with it when he came home that afternoon!

When we were discussing ideas for their engagement session location, Shannon wanted something a little more natural as opposed to cityscape. So I knew Two Rivers was the perfect location for them. After having to reschedule a few times due to April showers, we had the recipe yesterday for the perfect engagement session. The weather, lighting and location were on point but the best part of it all was sweet Ronnie and Shannon. OH not to mention, their two sweet pups made an appearance at the beginning of the shoot!! Remi – the chocolate lab, and Murphy – the baby yellow lab!! Ronnie and Shannon were so sweet and kind together and loved to display their affection for me and for the camera! I’m so happy to have met these two and can’t wait to see pictures of their tropical elopement in October!
