Allie & Kyle’s summer Little Rock engagements were SO much fun. I love doing engagement sessions for all of my wedding couples. It gives us the chance to get to know each other and get more familiar with one another before the wedding day, and you can also use these images on your wedding website, for invitations, save the dates, sending out to family and friends, and of course they’re such a special keepsake for you to pass down for generations.
We started their session at Alsopp Park for a bit of a natural location. I love shooting at Alsopp any time of year. The greenery is always so lush in the spring and summer, and then for fall it’s just as gorgeous when fall colors start to come through. In fact, I’ve hosted spring and summer minis here at Alsopp before.
For the second half of their engagements, we drove to The Clinton Library which is honestly such a good spot. I recommend it to any of my clients who want something with a downtown feel because you have the architecture of the building, with also some greenery with the pretty walkways and landscaping they’ve incorporated into the library.
I loved Allie and Kyle’s outfit that they wore for their engagements. They kept it pretty neutral but with a fun pop of fuchsia with Allie’s heels!! And that fuzz! Are you kidding me!? Obsessed!
Allie and Kyle got engaged in PARIS. (are you kidding me… SUCH a dream.) Kyle set the whole thing up! He planned the trip, and hired a photographer to do a couples session for them while they were there, so they could get updated professional photos together. Then he proposed during the photoshoot!
Allie and Kyle very recently purchased their first house together and are currently in the process of remodeling it, and getting nice and cozy and settled. Although during our time together, I learned that the renovating process is turning out to be quite the hassle!
I adored these two, and cannot wait for their wedding this November at an all time favorite locaiton of mine – The Grandeur House.
