Kennedy + Cole: Winter Wedding at Grandeur House

Kennedy and Cole’s wedding is one that I had been looking forward to for months! I was so excited when February 25th finally arrived. Their winter wedding at Grandeur House in Little Rock was everything sweet, loving and FUN! Kennedy and Cole kept God the focus of their entire day.

The Grandeur House is always such a wonderful place to shoot weddings. With the natural light coming in, it’s a photographer’s dream. We had a lot of rain leading up to The Tollison’s wedding day, so while we were able to sneak outside for a few bride and groom portraits, The Grandeur House came in clutch with amazing indoor spots with gorgeous lighting to take bridal party and family photos.

Kennedy and Cole had the sweetest private first look upstairs in the loft at The Grandeur House – but then yall… check out Cole’s reaction as she’s walking down the aisle!! He still got emotional and wept! How sweet!!

I will remember this wedding FOREVER. One of my most favorite things I’d ever seen at a wedding happened on this day. In lieu of a father daughter dance, Kennedy surprised her dad with a softball and 2 gloves for a game of catch on the dance floor.

Portraits are amazing. I love getting creative and having the freedom to make gorgeous art with my couples. However, it’s these candid moments that forever and ever have my heart. In the words of Kennedy “My sister and I both played D1 college softball and he made us the players we were and got us to the highest level there is in sports. Our whole world revolves around softball!!”

I’m so thankful that I get to play a role in so many amazing moments in people’s lives. Wether that role be big or small, I’m beyond blessed. My couples and their families bless me so much by trusting me with these memories. These are beyond precious. I’m going to go and cry some more now.
